NEW MM2H REQUIREMENTS & SARAWAK MM2H ARE BOTH ACTIVE

I hope this message finds you in the best of health and well being. I am informing you of the latest update of the New MM2H program & Sarawak MM2H. Sarawak MM2H is currently active but requires you to be in Sarawak for submission and the New MM2H starts from October 1st.

We can reapply for everyone who had previously applied through us but you must fulfil the new requirements. All those with pending applications must be processed as new and we will be charging a subsidised fee of approx RM2,500 to process the New MM2H application for pending applications only to cover our expenses for a new submission . We would understand your reluctance to pay any further fees but we have barely survived in the last 1+ year and we will continue to suffer loss of income due to the very high requirements for new applicants and this is the only way we can continue. If you cannot fulfill the new requirements, we will offer an alternative of the Sarawak MM2H which is similar and easier to process than the previous MM2H but full fees are payable. For New MM2H applicants see revised fees stated below.

NEW MM2H PROGRAM

Financial Criteria

For main applicant above 35 years of age or above

S-MM2H Application Fee BEFORE APPROVAL (requirements before approval are only for application purposes & NOT required for the future) :

• show a minimum RM1,500,000 equivalent of combined liquid funds (bank, stocks/shares, life insurance funds, social security funds etc).
• show a minimum RM40,000 equivalent of combined average monthly income in the latest 3 months (salary, pension, dividends, rental, interest etc).

AFTER APPROVAL : place RM1,000,000* fixed deposit in a bank in Malaysia, you can withdraw 50% after 1 year (T&C apply).

Additional requirement:

• * For aged 35-49 years old - add RM50,000 per dependent to Fixed Deposit in bank

IMPORTANT points to consider:

1. MAIN APPLICANT AGE MUST BE 35+
2. TOTAL 90 DAYS STAY PER YEAR BETWEEN SPOUSES ONLY
3. FIVE (5) YEARS RENEWABLE
4. GOVERNMENT PROCESSING FEE RM5,000 + RM2,500 PER DEPENDENT
5. VISA FEE RM500 PER PERSON PER YEAR
6. POLICE CRIMINAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FOR ALL
7. CAN BE PROCESSED WITHOUT BEING PRESENT IN MALAYSIA

Please note the new MM2H requirements have been reported in the national media. We have not seen the official documents and there is always the chance further revisions will be made before the new program takes effect or a new government takes charge. We will keep you advised as we learn more so keep in touch for updates.

SARAWAK MM2H (S-MM2H) PROGRAM

Financial Criteria

For main applicant above 30 years of age or above

BEFORE APPROVAL (requirements before approval are only for application purposes & NOT required for the future) :

• show a minimum RM10,000 (couple) or RM7,000 (single) equivalent of combined average monthly income in the last 3 months (salary, pension, dividends, rental, interest etc).

AFTER APPROVAL : place RM300,000 (couple) or  RM150,000  (single) fixed deposit in a bank in Malaysia, you can withdraw 40% after 1 year (T&C apply).

Additional requirement:

• For aged 40-49 years old - Either investment in property (RM600,000 in Kuching, RM500,000 in other areas) OR have children enrolled in an educational institution in Sarawak.
  
• For aged 30-39 years old - Must have children enrolled in an educational institution in Sarawak.
  

IMPORTANT points to consider:

1. TEN (10) YEARS RENEWABLE
2. MINIMUM 15 DAYS STAY IN SARAWAK BY MAIN APPLICANT ONLY AND CAN STAY ANYWHERE IN MALAYSIA
3. YOU MUST BE PRESENT IN SARAWAK TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION
4. ALL DOCUMENTS WILL BE PREPARED BEFORE GOING TO SARAWAK
5. MEDICAL, INSURANCE & BANKING CAN BE DONE IN 1-2 DAYS IN SARAWAK & PREPARED IN ADVANCE
6. SUBMISSION CAN BE DONE WITHIN ONE DAY UPON COMPLETING THE ABOVE
7. APPROVAL MAY TAKE BETWEEN 4-12 WEEKS
8. VISA FEE AT RM90 PER PERSON PER YEAR
9. NO GOVERNMENT PROCESSING FEES

• SINGLE @ RM9,000
• COUPLE @ RM10,000
• FAMILY @ RM11,000*

* Limited to two (2) children with no extra fees otherwise RM500 extra per person

*not including medical, health insurance, certification,Govt processing fees (for new MM2H only) & visa fees. Our fee is payable as 50% in advance and 50% after approval.

note: for existing MM2H applications, a flat fee of RM2,500 + any certifications charges will be applied.
