I hope this email reaches you in the best of health and well being. I know many if not all have been going through a difficult and strange time during this global crisis. I hope this time can bring some peace and solace to our own well being and souls so that we may all come out of this situation as better individuals.

I now have some good news and that is the MCO lock-down in Malaysia has partly been lifted last week and will hopefully be fully lifted from 10th June onwards or maybe extended depending on the number of positive cases. Some regulations will stay in place on Social distancing but all in all business can resume. MM2H centre is now open since 13th May and we are also open and in preparation to process applications which have been pending.

Another much awaited news for anyone under MM2H visa and still outside of Malaysia, the stranded MM2H members may re-enter Malaysia beginning from 17th May 2020 onwards. While the Government welcomes home the stranded MM2H members, they have to comply with all the MCO's requirements. This includes a medical screening at KLIA Airport and to observe a 14-day quarantine at the Quarantine Station and to bear the accommodation cost at the respective quarantine station. We wish all the stranded MM2Hers a safe journey back to their home in Malaysia. The ministry has confirmed that you must show you have been tested negative to board the flight and gain entry into Malaysia.

As for anyone who has already received their MM2H visa and do not require any extension or any other MM2H related service just yet then you are fine and keep on enjoying Malaysia. As for anyone who requires any service to first endorsements, extend, renew, add dependents, withdraw FD, terminate visa etc, we are ready to service your needs and our office is open.

Unfortunately, for anyone who is waiting for approvals then this has been a challenge and may continue to be so. I am truly sorry for this unfortunate situation and we and many other agents are battling with MM2H every day for approvals since last year. We Have had no approvals since Feb 2020 and all submissions from August are still pending and some before this date. With the previous government delays, then the new government coming in and now the Lock-down will inevitably cause further delays. The only thing I can say is all our applications, although late, have been approved and thus we request you humbly to be patient and wait for this hopeful conclusion.
